Patty Bergey Obituary

Patty Perron Bergey, 87, of Payson, Arizona, passed away February 20, 2005. Born on July 29, 1917 in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her brother Dave, husband Jack, daughter Susan Viges Chaffee. Patty attended Nutrier High School in IL and later was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at U of A, Tucson, AZ. Patty lived primarily in Scottsdale, AZ and in later years, Durango Co. and Payson, AZ. Patty was a loving mother, good friend to many, and absolute delight to know, full of fun and history and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by sons, Michael and Thomas Bergey (Mona) of Durango Co.; daugthers, Martha Cooley (Robert) of Payson, and Nancy O'Shea of San Diego, CA; brother, Larry Perron (Ann) of Phoenix; nephew, Ken of Tempe, AZ, and niece, Carol of Palmdale, CA; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services and Celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Family requests donations to: RTA Hospice, 511 N. Mudsprings Rd., Payson, AZ 85541 in her name. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
