Pedro Madril Obituary
of Phoenix, went to his final resting place on March 29, 2015 at his home in Phoenix with his daughters, one day shy of his 92nd birthday. He was born in Globe, Arizona on March 30, 1923. Pete was a hardworking man who spent the last years after his retirement from the City of Phoenix as a crossing guard at Shaw Elementary School where he was loved by both students and adults alike, all who lovingly referred to him as "Tata." Pete is preceded in death by his wife Sara, survived by his daughters Elsa (Robert) Romero, and Mari Madril (David Jackson); grandchildren Robert Jr., Andrea, Iram, La Mar, and Jakob; eight great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews including Frankie Madril and the Gonzalez family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix. Interment will follow at East Resthaven Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pete's memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St, Phoenix AZ 85014 or www.hov.org.

I had the pleasure of working with Pete since 2001 at Shaw School until the year he retired. I am Nancy Barron the Office Manager (now retired) I have many pleasant memories of Pete. He loved his job and coworkers. He was funny and sweet and such a good man. I send my heartfelt sympathy to his family. He made a difference in children's lives. God bless him and may he rest in peace.
