Phoenix - Our beloved mother Petra Gloria Baca, 72, passed away July 7, 2020 of Phoenix, AZ. Petra was born in Phoenix, AZ to Antonio and Concha Baca, Petra was a loving and nurturing mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by brother Gilbert Baca, sister Lydia Rodriguez , children; Lorena J. Ybarra, George Ybarra Jr, Gary Ybarra, Patricia Munoz, Martin Galaviz Jr, Mickey Galindo. 32 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
Petra's smile and laughter was contagious and made people want to be in her presence everywhere she was! Petra loved gardening and preaching the word of God, she was a loving person and always had a kind word for everyone. Petra was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
The viewing ceremony will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:30-4:00 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Chapel, service begins at 3:00 p.m. Flowers can be delivered to the Thompson Funeral Chapel.
