Rachel Dennis Obituary

Rachel Elizabeth Dennis, 23, of Coffeyville, KS, who had been missing since March 2, 2007, was found March 13, 2007. Rachel was born February 26, 1984 at Bartlesville, OK to Barry and Patricia (Hurley) Dennis. She grew up in Independence, KS and moved to Phoenix AZ (June 2000) with her mother and sister. Rachel graduated from Desert Vista High School, Phoenix, AZ and attended Rogers State University, Claremore, OK. Rachel and her son moved to Coffeyville, KS ten months ago. Survivors include her 18 month old son, Tegan Dennis, her mother, Patricia Dennis; her father and step-mother, Barry and Lori Dennis; one sister, Rebecca Dennis; two brothers, Dylon Dennis and Dakota Dennis, and her maternal grandmother, Sadie Hurley. A memorial service has already been held. The family suggests memorials to a fund established for Rachel's 18-month old son, Tegan Dennis; contributions may be mailed c/0 David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 N Cline Raod, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
