My entry into the Farrell clan was through their son, Dennis. When you know one Farrell, you get them all. They are truly a remarkable family - and that was absolutely due to Betty and Ray. Over the past 17 years, Mr. and Mrs. Farrell would come and visit at the softball games. It was truly a wonderful time to see them each weekend. To hear the stories, to tell some of your own - I will always remember those times as being some of my favorites.

I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Farrell in a couple different ways-he worked in the bank in the building I worked, that was Ray; and he was Mr. Farrell, my friend Dennis' dad. Who knew they were one in the same - until he recognized me, and well, the rest is well known. As sad as you may be to lose your dad, you know he is now dancing with Betty. Thanks for sharing both with the rest of us.

All my love, Joanne (pm) Granville

Mr. Farrell was the second best fan our softball team ever had (his wife being the first best). Unfortunately, it never mattered where he and Mrs. Farrell set up their seats, their son Dennis always managed to foul a ball off in their direction. Mr. Farrell was a great guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
