Raymond Manning Obituary

Raymond Leon Manning, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on January 10, 2005 at the age of 76. He was born on August 11, 1928 to Arthur and Helen (Ritchey) Manning in Bowling Green, KY. Raymond moved to Arizona 56 years ago, and owned two wholesale poultry business in the Phoenix area. Raymond is survived by his wife, Marian M. Manning; son David Manning of Palm Desert, CA; step-sons Michael Kempf of Batesville, AR, and John Kempf of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters Mary V. Pebley and Betty Dobbs of Louisville, KY; as well as 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 6-8:00 PM at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale. Memorial donations may be made to Vista Del Camino, 7700 E. Roosevelt St., Scottsdale, AZ 85257.

Dear Mrs. Manning - Our heartfelt sympathy to you and the whole family. We were blessed to have known Mr. Manning as was everyone at Mormon Lake. My father thought the world of him and as Allie says, I bet Grandpa and Mr. Manning are sitting on a front porch right now. Our love & prayers
