My Dad and I were fans of Ray when he played for the Cardinals. I was lucky enough to meet him in the mid eighties and became golfing buddies in KC for a while. SD to hear of his passing. Hope my dad met him at the gates!

Dear Mary and Family;
We were so surprised and saddened to hear about Ray's passing, and we want to extend our most heartfelt sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Ray was a wonderful guy and over the years we always looked forward to the many evenings out we had with you and Ray at our favorite Mexican food restaurants. They were always fun, and the baseball stories he told were classic. He will be missed.
