Reed Brooks Obituary
Mesa - Reed Brooks, 71, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 21st 2018, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on July 11, 1946 to Glen and Kate Brooks (Reed), in Mesa, Arizona.
He attended Westwood High School, class of 1965. On October 4, 1969 he married Jane Olson of Rockford Illinois. He started Reed's Plumbing and Service in 1982. He had a successful business for over thirty years and eventually worked alongside his sons. His favorite hobby was going to the Yuma sand dunes with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Brooks, mother Kate Brooks, step-mother Vera Brooks, sister Kathleen Brooks, son Dale Brooks and grandson Cody White.
Survivors include his wife Jane, their children Donald, Katie (Butch), David (Cassi) and Jennie (Jaren), brother Glen Brooks Jr. (Ron), sisters Debbie Gillespie (Wes), Denise Crandall (David), Linda Gibbons and Gayle Garfield, grandchildren Dillon, Rayna, Preston, Drake, Alexzandrea, Autumn, Maddy, Missy, Megan, David Jr, Dax, Hailey and Addison, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 29th 5-7 P.M. at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N Macdonald, Mesa, Arizona. Services are being held Saturday June 30th at 10 A.M., with a viewing one hour prior at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1054 West 2nd Place Mesa, Arizona. Interment will follow services at the City of Mesa Cemetery.

Dear Jane and Brooks Family,
We want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We have many fond memories of being with all of you when you lived down the street from us. Among them; listening to Reed play great things on the piano, hanging out on the 4th of July eating watermelon and watching the fireworks for example. We hope you can recall happy times you've had together and feel peace.
