Ricky was gone too soon. How his nana and tata loved him. I used to hear all the stories as he was growing up. He was the apple of their eye! I miss those talks with Irene and Gilbert. I often think about them, how we should have been able to spend more time together. They’re together now, having a eternity of happiness.

Dear Ricky, I pray that God has allowed you to meet up with tata Gilbert, as he always loved you very much. I am really sorry that you had to take the bus on your new journey. I too love you very much. I am going to miss you dearly, not too many people understood you, including me too sometimes, but my love for you was always there. I only wanted the best for you, you really deserved the very best, the best job, the best girlfriend, the best place to live, the best family, the very best life God had to offer you. Well now you are with God and your tata Gilbert. Until we meet again Grandson, always remember I love you and may God bless you and keep you safe forever.
