Richard was my Uncle from his youngest brother Russell. I really didn't know my Uncle well because I was really young when we moved, but my heart and respect goes out to the family. God bless you all.

I met Richard Cruz in 1977 through my husband Manuel Tapia. We met when we were all young, in our 20's. I could not write down all the memories.I want you to know that you were always kind to me. And respectful at that. I always remember when I returned from California with my five children and husband. You were the only one to tell me your home was open to us. I tell my children that story. I want them to know the good person that you were also.I still can hear your laughter. I am sorry that I was not always there for you. You were always in my heart. May the Lord receive you and keep you in his kingdom. I know that your little girl is there waiting for you.
