Richard Rust Obituary

Richard Charles Rust of Chandler passed away August 16, 2005 in Gilbert, AZ. He is survived by wife, Marie, step-daughters Kristen and Elizabeth Baca, step-granddaughter Makayla Adams, sister Christy Parker, niece Jaimie Lee, nephew Jacob Parker, mother Susan Jax, and grandmother Marion Jax. Richard is preceded in death by father Richard S. Rust, grandfather William Jax, and step-father Clifford Elder. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM, Monday August 22 at the Gilbert Presbyterian Church 235 E. Guadalupe Rd. Gilbert, AZ. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Richard's name to the non-profit Mental Health Association of Arizona, 6411 E. Thomas Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Services entrusted to Falconer Funeral Home.

Although I did not know Richard until after I met my husband Michael Bradley, he was an instant friend to me and always made me feel like one of the group. We'll miss you Richard, but you will always be in our hearts.

Are condolences to Richard's family and friend's. We knew Richard as Gumby. He was a great friend and had a big heart. My heart goes out to Richard's wife and family. He was my best friend, and my brother. We knew each other since we were kids going to church in Gilbert. I will miss him dearly. I love you buddy.
