Richard Zubal Obituary
76 of Mesa, passed away on July 21, 2009. Richard was born February 23, 1933 in Johnstown, PA to the late Peter & Mary (Gritzer) Zubal. He worked at Bethlehem Steel until moving to AZ in 1962 and worked in the mortgage and appraisal industry until his retirement. He is survived by 2 children: Bob (Joanne) Zubal, Lynn Zubal; former wife, Louise Zubal; nephew & niece: Tom (Maria) Dutko, Elaine Dutko and his grandchildren. Also preceded in death by siblings: John, Nick, Andy Zubal and Mary Dutko. A memorial visitation will be 11 AM to 2 PM, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the Fireside Room of Fountain of the Sun, 540 S. 80th St. in Mesa. Contributions to your favorite charity have been suggested by his family.

Charlie Voytko told me about Dick so I checked the obituary. I also knew Dick from our Brownstown and Sunnehanna days as a caddy. A good guy and golfer. He will be missed by family and friends.

My condolences to Dick's family.I graduated with him in the Ferndale High School class of 1950.Our lives took separate paths andI didn't see him again till our 40th reunion.He was always upbeat and we planned to meet in AZ someday.I'm really Shocked that he passed so suddenly

My sympathy to the family and friends of Richard Zubal in Arizona. I just heard the sad news. Richard was in my class at Ferndale High School and we are just getting ready to have our 60th reunion next year. He came to our last ones and had such a good time. We will all really miss him.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Richard Zubal's family. I graduated with Richard from Ferndale Hi, class of 1950. I can remember him as being one of our "class clowns"! I'm sorry he has left us so soon. If someone has the time would you please reply to my email? I am an Arizona resident.
