Robert F. Coleman

Robert F. Coleman, 85, passed away July 29, 2005. He and his wife of 58 yrs, Veronica, (Ronnie) lived in Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale for 31 yrs. He was a consultant in the brokerage business with an office at J.W. Garrett in Phoenix. An avid golfer he was a member of the Phoenix Country Club, the Paradise Valley Country Club and the Pine Valley Golf Club in Pine Valley, NJ. Born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, he graduated with a Philosophy degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He served in WW II as 1st lieutenant in the US Army and was in the invasion of Anzio. Before moving to Az, he owned several businesses in Cleveland, Ohio and consulted for national companies including Emerson of St. Louis, MO. and Diamond Shamrock of San Antonio, Texas. Preceded in death by his brother Bill Coleman, his sons Mark E. Colemen and David Coleman, Robert is survived by his wife Ronnie, daughter Marlo Coleman Rees of Portland, Ore., son Rob Coleman of Phoenix, daughter Mary Coleman Brown of Scottsdale, daughter Katherine C. Gabrielson of Glendale and grandchildren, Brooke, Caitlin and McKenzie Coleman, Rory Wilson, Ryan and Lynn Gabrielson and Kristian and Kelley Brown. He is also survived by his brother Jack Coleman of Phoenix, Arizona. The memorial service will be held on Saturday August 13th at 10 am at Our Lady of Joy, 36811 N. Pima Rd, Carefree, (NE corner of Pima and Cave Creek, 20 min North of 101 on Pima. 480.488.2229) Reception immediately following at the church from 11-1pm. Private burial on Sunday.
