Robert Kuntz Obituary

Kuntz, Robert G.
age 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his devoted children on January 21, 2016. Bob was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and wonderful friend. He was a strong, loving, generous, positive, kind man who enriched anyone's life he touched. Anyone who was lucky enough to have Bob in their lives was a better person because of it. He was preceded in death by his loving first wife, Gloria Dembroski (1979) and second wife, Mae Parker (2014). He is survived by his children Cris (Kuntz) Parker Weappa and husband Chuck, Roxann (Kuntz) Richards, and son Terry, stepson Jim and wife Kandyce, stepson Don and wife Chris and stepson Tom; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Don, Marilyn, Joann and Geri. Bob was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. He served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps. He and his wife Gloria and their 3 children moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 1957. Bob's list of friends and colleagues grew over the years through his involvement in his church and his passions for family and sports including but not limited to golfing, hunting, fishing and bowling. Bob's selfless dedication to assist any of his family or friend's troubles was legendary. We have lost a wonderful father and friend too soon. Each of us will lose a part of ourselves, but all of our lives were immeasurably enriched by having known Bob. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31 from 6-8 PM at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Feb 1 at 11 AM at Church of the Ascension, 12615 Fountain Hills Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.

Bob was a kind of man that could find humor in anything. Just ask his grandson's about how he taught them to clean fish. New words were created that day that are still being used. He and his extended family always made me and my boys feel like we were part of the family. His love and guidance will never be forgotten. He will truly be missed until we meet again.
