Rose Sonchik

Rose Sonchik, 85, of Phoenix passed on to new life on December 6, 2006. She was born and spent most of her life in Staten Island, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Sonchik, and her sister, Theresa Sciarra. Rose is survived by her daughters, Roseanne Sonchik of Phoenix, Barbara Sonchik of Jacksonville, FL, and her brother, Patsy Sciarra of Toms River, NJ. Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 5 pm to 8 pm, with Rosary at 7 pm at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 12, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3801 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix followed by burial at Paradise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in her memory to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
