Samantha Dwyer Obituary

Samantha Rochelle Dwyer

Gilbert - Samantha Rochelle Dwyer was born on March 13th, 2001 and died unexpectedly on November 19th , 2020.

Sammie was born in Chandler Arizona to Kimberlee (Cleer) and Michael Dwyer on March 13th 2001. Samantha means "good listener" and Rochelle means "little rock". The second of two children. She loved her family, animals, especially her dogs and rabbits. She would love helping a stray animal! This love she had was shown in her compassion for all around her.

Even at a very early age, she had a tremendous ability to climb, and after she climbed to the top, had no fear of heights!

She had an independent heart from the beginning and stood firm when she needed to. A little rock she was.

Sammie played volleyball at South Valley Jr. High and she played volleyball at Campo Verde High School, in Gilbert, Arizona. At Campo, one of the basketball coaches saw her diving on the floor in volleyball and told her they needed her to play basketball, because they needed that kind of hustle and heart on the team! Campo Verde is where she graduated, in May of 2019.

Sammie had just completed her course work to become a Phlebotomist. She previously worked as a babysitter, and at Door Dash, Integrity Fleet Service and Creamistry, all in Gilbert.

Sammie is survived by her parents Kimberlee Cleer-Dwyer, Mike (Shelley)Dwyer, and her brother Vince Dwyer, Grandparents Patti and Mike Cleer, and little Grandma Ellen Dwyer.

She was preceded in death by her Aunt Penny Chase Newman and her Little Grandpa Richard Dwyer and her Great Grandma Shirley Cleer.

Sammie was a tissue and organ donor, and upon her death helped over 100 different people!

Cremation has already taken place and a memorial celebration is planned in the park by where Sammie lived, 120 W. Windsor Dr, Gilbert, AZ, on what would have been her 20th birthday, March 13th, 2021.

Donations instead of flowers, in Sammie's name, are being accepted at "Follow Your Heart Animal Rescue" Mesa, AZ.

A kind and kindred spirit she was! A focused, determined, yet gentle, respectful and calm child. That is how I remember her.
I pray she is looking down from the heavens above -allowing her spirit to shine and calm you, Dwyer. Letting you know that she will spiritually always be beside you.
Until you meet up again- to hold her.
