Tio Sammy is very missed but he will live on in the hearts & memories of all who loved him. How could you "not" love him? He was always honest, down to earth and quick with a smile or a witty comment! We send our love and prayers to Tia Sally & family.

I will miss Uncle Sammy very much. I will always have good memories of him. Like the hunting trips, the time he wrecked Uncle Joes Vespa in Tucson, and him cracking my knuckles when I was little. He was a good cook and I remember the times we would kill a Javelina or Deer and my Dad saying, "let's take it to Uncle Sammy, he could make some red chili with it or something". Bye Uncle Sammy and I will never forget you. Aunt Sally and family my prayers are with you and your family. Love, David Nieto Jr.

God Bless you and Rest in Peace Sammy. May there be many shade trees in heaven, where you and those that have gone before you can sit and reminice about your life and family here on earth, as we will reminice about you.

Uncle Sammy, We will all miss you.
I remember when we lived on 27th

Of all the stories and memories of Uncle Sam, the most important for me was as a kid I was never afraid to raise my hand in school because he taught me ask until you get an answer. I think that's why I enjoyed school so much and wasn't afraid to get the answers. In short, Uncle Sam was there for me at the right time and the right place and I'll will always be thankful for that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Tia Sally.

Sammy will indeed be greatly missed! He was a great brother-in-law...very genuine and a very "down to earth" kind of person. I will keep him in my prayers.

I will miss Uncle Sammy especially his funny stories and his laugh. It seemed as if he lived with us when I was a kid. So I have many funny stories to tell. But, the one that I remember most was his teasing me about being so skinny. He used to say that when I went to the Dr. they would just grab me by the neck and put me up to the window for an x-ray. Good Bye Uncle Sam...Becky DeLeon

Uncle Sammy was one of my favorite Uncle's. It almost seemed as if he lived with us when I was a kid. So I can tell many stories. But, the one that he always teased me about most was being so skinny. He used to say, when Becky goes to the Dr. the Dr. grabs her by the neck and lifts her to the window to get an x-ray. He always had a smile on his face. I will remember that most. Becky DeLeon

I cannot express in words how much my Tio Sammy will be missed. I am honored to have had Tio Sammy as part of my life. My fond memories of him will never fade and I will cherish them forever. He was a one-of-a kind. Life begins where life has ended. As one grows the memory of the other shall continue growing. Tio Sammy was always surrounded by love, care and most of all family. Only a few people knew that when we went to Chinatown about 4 years ago I had bought a water turtle and I named him Sammy after my Tio. We have to remember one thing, he is now our guardian angel and he will always be watching over us.

With lots of my love, your niece,
Tina Nieto-Alvarez

Uncle Sammy was an excellent cook and could make some good menudo. I will never forget how he and Uncle Gabriel worked so hard to make the food for my wedding. Even though they got so tired just from opening up over 200 little packets of sauce, it was worth it. The sauce was the right Nieto price - "Free." Know that God has blessed Uncle Sammy by taking him out of his pain and into his arms in heaven. May the Lord also bless Aunt Sally and their kids and grandkids. With Much Love, Michael & Cynthia Ramirez & Family
