Uncle Sam, you will forever be missed by so many that loved you. We had such great talks, few people hold as much knowledge as you in so many diverse subjects. Your jokes/pranks always kept the party going. We had many great visits with you guys in AZ...all the way back to tubing behind the boat and going on walks at the house on the hill, to more recent ones like taking the quads out in the desert. Your love for life, adventure and your family is one of a kind. Love, Traci Cunningham

Sam was my cousin and a fun part of my childhood. We were only a few months apart in age and there was a whole world to explore. Sam was always full of life, and pushed it to the limit! There was splashing and bugs in Stover's Creek park, wild motorcycle rides with me holding on for "dear life", swimming off of his father's boat, just joking around. Somewhere, there's even an old picture of he and I as kids, dressed as cowboy and cowgirl. We were both fascinated with the "wild West". As the years went on, I didn't talk with him often, but it was good to know that he was there. Now there's a big void. We will all miss him, but a piece of him is in my heart. My thoughts, love, and prayers are with his family.

Grandpa, not a day goes by that I wish you were still here. Im always going to have the memories you shared with us, and I wilk forever cherish the first time you met your great-grand daughter, the biggest smile you had on your face. You were always smiling and spoiled us rotten:) I think my favorite memory (too many to count), but my favorite is the tradition we had every christmas of finding the pickle on the tree:) You will be missed greatly, but I will always know that you are up above looking down on us. We love you grandpa very much!

Not too many people begin a friendship the way we did, and Sam's friendship will live on in our hearts. We will miss the love put into all of the recipes we shared, and his big heart. But most of all we'll miss you Sam. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jet and the family.
