Sid Camomile Obituary
70, of Gilbert, AZ passed peacefully on February 28, 2014. Sid was born in Salt Lake City and attended schools in Ogden, UT before proudly serving in both the Air Force and the Marine Corps. He relocated to Arizona in 1974 where he worked at Frontier Airlines, Garrett, and the U.S. Postal Service. He loved fishing and the great outdoors, and always kept busy and active. His parents, Clarence Camomile and Anna Virginia Ward, preceded him in death. Sid leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Lynn, son Darin (Rhonda) of Layton, UT, daughter Nicole of Gilbert, brother Dennis (Susan) of Sandy, UT, and 3 grandchildren, Addison, Cordell, and Tristan. Services will be held at 10:00 am on March 22, 2014 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ 85248.

Some people make the world better just by being in it. Sid was one of those people. Eugene & I enjoyed our fun times meeting up @ Teakwoods for a cocktail or two & getting together @ the Lea's. Our deepest sympathy, Lynn, in the loss of Sid. He was such a special man and we were blessed to call him "friend". Ron especially will miss the time he was able to spend with Sid fishing and hanging out. He was genuinely kind and giving. He always maintained his sense of humor even during his many struggles with his illness. Ron and I will truly miss him and remember him always.

I haven't seen my Uncle Sid in many years, but I had heard that he was ill. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, but I am glad he is free of his illness now. Rest in peace Uncle Sid.
