Sophia Munson Obituary

Sophia Munson died peacefully at the age of 90 at home on June 23, 2005. Survivors include her children, Richard Murphy, Charles Murphy, Catherine Body, Maureen Boning, Margaret Krell and Elizabeth Price; sister, Vern Sadowski; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at Paradise Sunset Chapel Funeral Home 3934 E. Indian School Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2005 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 4715 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ. Memorial contributions: St. Vincent De Paul Society 9227 N. 10"' Ave. Phoenix, AZ, 85021.

Sophie was such a kind and generous person, always thinking of others. And what a cook! She made the best lemon squares and lemon pies ever. Sophie always made us feel like part of her wonderful family and her faith and trust in God never wavered. We were blessed and inspired by her presence!
