On November 29th, 2015, the Lord called home four members of the same family. Frank Grover Hooper, 86, and Ella Darlene Conrad Hooper, 85, were baptized the very same day, on September 14th, 1930. Two of their three children, oldest daughter Janice Lynne Hooper Mertens, 56, and only son Steven Frank Hooper, 54, entered eternal life alongside them. Janice was married to Bill Mertens on May 5th, 1984. During their happy 31 years of marriage they had two daughters, Heather, 26, and Sarah, 20. Steve was also blessed with a daughter, Stephanie, 22. The immediate Hooper family is survived by Frank and Darlene's youngest daughter, Brenda Lou Hooper MacKay. She is married to James MacKay and they have three daughters: Brieana, 20, and Amanda and
Emily, 16. Friends and family are welcome to join them in celebrating the lives of these four beautiful people. The service will be held at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 11002 S. 48th St. Phoenix, Arizona 85044 on Thursday, December 10th at 1:00 p.m., reception to follow.
