Here we are 6 years later. And to think the only a week ago today we got together for a memorial for Judy, Steve's loving mother. If there is anything positive to be said at all, it's the joy (for Steve and Judy) that they are now together in heaven where they can laugh and chat and have no pain any more. And, they're with Jesus forever. It's us here on earth who will still feel the sadness and yet at the same time find peace in the joyful memories of our loved ones. In love and prayerful peace, Marti and Paul Lemieux. 10/1/2022

5 years have scrolled by since my best friend passed, not a day goes by that I dont feel that. Knowing that no one will ever fill his shoes, have the history we had makes life pretty mundane. I plod along now waiting till we are together again sharing a laugh. See you soon my friend, till then.

Steve, my oldest, dearest friend, closer than anyone to me. He was an outstanding friend, eyes when i just could not see, ears when i could not hear, light in the darkness a voice in silence. He was someone who could have been a general had he chose the military. A CEO of anything he put his mind to. As quick a wit as anyone on earth. His view, never grey, never warm, he was black and white, ice cold or white hot nothing in between. He was 100% into anything he did, he was always in the moment. Intollerant of fools, loving to those who were lucky enough to be his friend.

Steve was like a brother to me. We were instantly connected to one another and could talk to one another about any topic, helping each other through some difficult times.
Not a day goes by where I reach for the telephone to call Steve about something and I feel his loss again.
A truly giving, caring human being that the world will forever feel the loss.

I was so very, very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a great, giving, and humorous man. I will always treasure memories of him sending me special goodies, like crab legs and special chocolates. He didn't hesitate to give someone a helping hand. He will be sorely missed.
God Is With You
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4)
May it be a source of inner strength to know that there's a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He'll stay close by your side.

My son, Steven, was a loyal and loving son whose earthly mission is finished, but his Light will never be extinguished in the hearts and souls he touched.

I have known Judy as my best friend for many, many years and have known Steve, Amy and Katie since they were little and watched them grow up. Paul and I are so sad for the whole family for Steve's sudden passing. Steve's humor will be remembered. He was one funny guy! Our prayers are with you all and will continue. God be with you all and give you peace, comfort and healing. Much love, Marti and Paul Lemieux
