Susan Limb of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away April 28, 2014. She was born July 15, 1928. Susan was a wonderful homemaker and cook. She loved making cookies for her husband, sons, friends and neighbors. Susan always seemed to accomplish every new project she tackled, from oil painting to becoming fluent in Spanish. After joining the BusyBee quilting club she and the other members made and donated hundreds of quilts to the state police and battered women's shelters for many years. Susan and her husband were members of the Host Family Association. They would take in foreign visitors and travelers and make them feel at home while visiting the Phoenix area. Susan loved Arizona, moving here after spending her honeymoon in Phoenix in 1946. She loved the desert climate, all the fruit trees, flowers, mountains and especially Greer in the White Mountains. Susan had many friends over the years, playing Mahjong and cards every week. She especially liked her friends and neighbors at Las Casitas. Susan is survived by her loving sons, Rick (Jean) and Martin (Beverly) Limb. Granddaughters, Joleen Greer and DeeDee Limb and three great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020 at 11:00 a.m. on May 17, 2014. Online condolences can be made at www.hansenmortuary.com.
