To Teressa's Family,

I had the honor of working with Teressa at St. Joseph's as her clinic director, her associate program director, and mostly working with her when she was our Chief Resident. She had the most wonderful smile that could tell you many different things, she liked something, she knew you were wrong but wasn't going to tell you, and she was just happy. Without her dedication to the development of our online curriculum, the residency program and hospital would not be where it is today. I shall always remember her fondly and accept my condolences for your family.

Teressa was a remarkable and singular person and physician. She came to St. Joseph's Hospital in July 2002 to start her internship in Internal Medicine. After three stellar years she received the honor of being asked to stay on as the Chief Resident, to join the leadership of the program from July 2005 through June 2006.
No one who ever knew her will ever forget her caring for her patients...her love of learning or her upbeat attitude towards life. We picture her in our minds smiling...at our graduation banquet this May, I cannot remember two parents more proud...
She has left an indelible mark on our lives.

I am stunned to hear of Teressa's passing. She was a good friend to me in high school. We rode the bus home together and loved to talk about her love for Science Fiction especially Dr. Who. She was a lovely and bright person who was very kind and witty. It was so great to see her go on to become a physician.
My deep sympathies go out to her family and friends.
