Tony Padilla Obituary
Tony Padilla passed away on October 14, 2017 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was born Antonio Valenzuela Padilla on June 13, 1928 in Tolleson to the late Espiridion and Refugio Padilla. Tony was an Army Veteran and worked in civil service for over 30 years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 63 years, Casimira, on January 17, 2013. Tony is survived by eight children Aurelia Miranda, Tony (Sally) Padilla, Gloria (David) Velasquez, Larry (Laurie) Padilla, David (Ofelia) Padilla, John (Ruby) Padilla, Mary (Alex) Mendoza & Terry Padilla and two siblings Pete Padilla & Alice Galaviz. He was a loving and caring Tata to 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. In addition to his parents and wife, Tony was preceded in death by a granddaughter Julie. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Burial with military honors will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery.

My deepest condolences goes out to my primos. I will miss my Nino dearly, he was like a second daddy to me. Even though I hardly visited him I carried him in my heart.
