He stayed with the Department as a Reserve to continue his work with the Refugee Communities. After retiring he worked as a Substitute Teacher. He took several cross country trips on his motorcycle. He was very involved in missionary work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; his life was devoted to the love and service of all he came in contact with. He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. Warren is preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Rosa and his daughters Lori and Julie. Warren was one of my first lieutenants. He was kind, caring and lead by example. He always had a smile and an encouraging comment. His sense of humor was one of a kind.

To the Taylor family. I am truly sorry for your loss. Warren was a true compassionate leader. He had great concern for all the people he dealt with. In the movies they always talk about good cop bad cop. There was never a doubt that he was always the good cop.
