Aunt Goldie i have never met you but I like others have great memories of Uncle Wes. I loved his smile and tender talk. The last time I got to see him was when my husband and i were at Aunt Darlenes visiting while in the military back in 1987. You and all his children(my many cousins i would love to know) are in our prayers for strength and lots of love . God Bless Julia and Rickey Slone (Bettys daughter) Biloxi, Miss.

Goldie,
May the love of family and friends carry you through this difficult time and may the Lord ease your sorrow and replace it with wonderful memories.
I have many wonderful memories of growing up on the farm. My brothers working with our Dad tiling the soil, planting crops, harvest time and going to the State and County Fairs to show our stock.
When Wes joined our parents, I can just imagine Mother saying, "Wes Cochran take off your hat!" Wes would
wear his hat to the table when they came in for lunch and Mother was always telling him to take his hat off.
I don't know if he did it to tease Mother or that he didn't want his hair to get messed up.
Brother Wes had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes, play cards, enjoyed singing, yodeling and wearing his Western clothes and boots.
He was one of a kind and as his baby
sister I admired him. Brother Wes was 18 years older then me. He made me laugh. He was always telling me stories and jokes about Clem Ka Diddle Hopper and I never could figure out who
Clem Ka Diddle Hopper was. He also taught me about snipe hunting.
Goldie, I am so glad you were my brother's wife. You made him happy and you took good care of him.
May the Lord give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
Love and prayers,
Baby Sister Linda Lou and George
