William Luby Obituary
86, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on August 15th, 2014. Bill was born and raised in Huron, South Dakota where he met and married his wife Georgia Strohmaier. He was an Army Veteran, had a Law degree from the University of Colorado, and spent his career at Travelers Insurance Company. He and his family moved to Arizona in 1969. Bill was a man of integrity, intellect and compassion. He loved his family unconditionally and will be remembered for his great wisdom, sense of humor and wit. Rest in peace dear husband, father and grandfather. Your legacy lives on. Bill left a very close and loving family. He left his lifelong partner and beloved wife Georgia with whom he recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. He also left three children, Kristine (Tom) Morrissey, Karen (Mark) Gerberich, and Kathy (Duane) Durham, six grandchildren, Stacy (Mike) Masciangelo, Kim (Pamp) Maiers, Laura (Neil) Prakash, Jessica (Bryn) Ritchie, Bryan Durham and Leandra Durham and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 11002 S. 48th Street, Phoenix, Az at 2:00pm. There will be a reception following at the same location.
