Dear Stocktons
I just learned of Bill's passing and was very saddened by it. I worked with Bill for many years at Allied Signal and always enjoyed our relationship. My wife Diana also knew Bill and admired him a lot.
About 20 some years ago Bill visited us when our kids were small and gave them a 3 legged turtle, which our adult kids still mention every now and then. That was Bill - unforgettable. We loved him.

Dear Stockton family:
I am so sorry to hear about Bill. Please accept our condolences from both my family and my parents Richard and Katherine Miller.
I went to Papago with Calvin and remember going to your house after school to play with Calvin. The one thing I remembered about your house, and this is from a kids view point, was all the animal heads hanging on the walls.
Please take care of yourselves and never forget all the wonderful memories you have of him.
God Bless,
Nancy Friend (aka: Nancy Miller)

A Tribute to a Beloved Friend
God saw you were getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arm around you
and whispered, "Come to me."
With tearful eyes
we watched you suffer
and saw you fading away;
although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
working hands were put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
"He only takes the best."

In less than a year I've lost the two men I admire most in this world. Uncle Billy was the kindest gentlest man I ever knew and is a huge part of the man I am Today.I know that him, dad,J.C., chuck, and larry got a campfire goin' and are waitin' for the rest of us to join the hunt. God Bless you Uncle Billy you were the best.
Love,
