Andres Fernandez Obituary

Andres Michael Fernandez (Andy Sr.) 

Andres Michael Fernandez, 83, was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 8, 1933. He lived the last 59 years of his life in Flagstaff, was very charismatic and gave everyone his infamous one liners that kept all the people he met laughing with life!  Andres, Albert, Ray, Salvador & Louie all served in the U.S. Military and Frank as a carpenter. Andres served in the Army during the Korean conflict.  He was employed by the U.S. Naval Observatory in Flagstaff for 34 years.  He was also a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife Connie Fernandez, children, Andy, Terese, Mike, Margaret & David; grandchildren Chantel, Houston, Brianna, Matthew; great grandchild Emma.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Anna Fernandez & daughter Rosemary. 

A Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 12:00 pm at with a funeral mass at 12:30 pm at Nativity Church, Flagstaff.  Burial with full military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, www.FlagstaffMortuary.com.
