Bob Rike Obituary

Robert "Bob" Raymond Rike, age 72, of Parks, AZ, died January 3, 2019 of injuries sustained in a fatal car accident west of Flagstaff on I-40. He was a loving husband, brother, friend to many, faithful to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a member of Northland Baptist Church of Flagstaff. Bob loved his wife Kathi, his family, travel, hunting, his church family, his neighbors and friends in the Parks community, helping and spending time with people.

Bob was born July 31, 1946 in Bisbee, AZ to James and Concepcion Rike. He had his Associates degree from Phoenix College. He served in the Air National Guard from 1967-1969. He was a successful business man as part owner of Johnstone HVAC Supply stores in Phoenix and Tucson.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Katherine "Kathi" Elaine Rike, one sister, Ida Morris, two brothers, Rudy Rike, and James Rike, all of Phoenix, AZ, his stepchildren Weslee "Scott" Giffin, and Rondee Storms, both of Phoenix, AZ, and two step grandsons, Camron and Brock.

A memorial service will be held at Northland Baptist Church, 8000 N. Hwy. 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004, at 10 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2019. There will be a reception held at the Parks School following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
