Chuck Van Ummersen, 70, of Flagstaff, died at his home Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2006.
Mr. Van Ummersen was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Lynn, Mass. He was an Eagle Scout in LaFayette, Calif., and a graduate of Oregon State University. He was a general contractor at Lake Tahoe and Sedona.
Mr. Van Ummersen is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Kate Van Ummersen (Chris Floyd) of Brooks, Ore., Kirsten Seifikar (Sasan) of Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Karl Van Ummersen of Reno, Nev.; and his sister Gretchen Van Meter (Jack) of Napa, Calif.
There will be private services.
Remembrances may be made to Boy Scout Troop No. 134, Camp Scholarship Fund, 1555 E. Cedar St., Flagstaff, AZ 86004. or Northland Hospice P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002.
Arrangements are by Norvel Owens Mortuary.
