Helen Flores Obituary

Helen Flores passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 4, 2024. She was born May 9, 1927, in San Juan, New Mexico. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Becky) Portillo, Susan Cisneros, Mark Garner and Rena Garner; 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; and sister, Natividad (Natie).
She is preceded in death by her son, Danny Portillo; parents, Abel and Esmela Flores; sister, Cipriana; and brothers, Ralph, Benancio, Antonio, Reymundo, Melaquias and Desidedro Flores.
Services at San Francisco de Asis on Monday, November 18, 2024. Rosary starting at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Calvary Cemetery following church services. Reception after burial services at SFDA in the Bonaventure Room.

Helen we have been a part of each other's family since you lived next door to us in Brannen Homes, maybe close to 55 years. My parents and you were very very good friends. There are so many memories me growing up around you, Marky and Rena... You are a special lady that showed us love and would scold us if we messed up.. you will truly be misses Helen.
