Jason Walter Cook
Jason Walter Cook, born June 10, 1983, beloved son of Steve and Laura Cook, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2023. He was a loving father who will be remembered by his daughter Julia, his brother Jeremy (Meredith), many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jason was an Ultra Marathon runner who qualified to run in the 2020 Boston Marathon. He was a gifted musician who performed in Sedona, Telluride, NAU, and University of Arizona bands. He was a kind soul who found zest in each day while dispensing compassion and care to all he encountered. He knew how to create a spark to make each day memorable.
He will always be loved and missed. May he rest in peace.

Laura and Steve, Brent and I were heartbroken to see that your son Jason had passed away unexpectedly. Your family must be devastated and it goes without saying it goes against the natural order of things to survive a child and for his daughter to lose her dad and his brother to have his only sibling gone. We pray that what brings you all comfort may be there in full measure as you continue to adjust to life without your beloved son.

Circling your hearts with love and prayers. It is hard to accept he left too soon. Many will be there to help support Julia with you. He was a jewel to work with at the city and a very special part of the city managers team. So very very sorry for your loss.
