Joann McCallum Obituary

Joann L. McCallum, 62, of Rimrock, formerly of Flagstaff, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at her home.

Mrs. McCallum was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Mt. Clemons, Mich., to Fred and Nona Ray. She worked as an administrative secretary at Northern Arizona University for more than 11 years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and most of all traveling and visiting family. She was a member of the retirees Administration and the Lioness Club.

Mrs. McCallum is survived by her husband of more than 44 years, Don McCallum Sr. of Rimrock; son Don (Rana) McCallum Jr. of Rock Springs, Wyo.; daughter Lisa (Mark) Hook of Rifle, Colo.; parents, Fred and Nona Ray of Sylvania, Ohio; brother Fred (Donna) Ray Jr., of White Lake, Mich.; sister Diane (Bob) Wallace of Swanton, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. at Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Rimrock.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Joann L. McCallum to Northland Hospice and Beaver Creek Baptist Church.

Arrangements are by Norvel Owens Mortuary of Flagstaff.
