Joseph Anaya Obituary
May 8, 1961 - January 26, 2025
Joseph Abenecio Anaya originally of Flagstaff, AZ, passed away January 26, 2025 in Fontana, CA at the age of 63. Joe is preceded in death by his wife whom he met in 1986, Diane Gutierrez; his parents, Raymond and Theresa Anaya; his brothers, Henry, James, Edward Anaya; and sister, Victoria Gonzales.
Joe had a bit of a traveling spirit and spilt his time between Arizona and California. He had a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. He could always be counted on to help family or friends whenever needed. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by his son, Joseph Anaya Jr, his wife, Angelica and their children, Lizbeth, Evelyn and Aiden; his daughter, Veronica Anaya; as well as his sisters, Christine Chavez, Rita Arias, Ramona, Mary and Juanita Anaya; and his countless nieces and nephews.
All are welcome to join his family for a potluck style celebration of his life on Saturday March 8th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion 204 W. Birch Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ.
