Kenneth Giovando Obituary

Kenneth Craig (K.C.) Giovando
April 15, 1954 - September 27, 2024
Kenneth Craig Giovando, KC to all that knew him, was born on April 15, 1954, in Safford, AZ, to John and Patricia Giovando. He passed away on September 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy.
John and Pat moved their family to Flagstaff in 1959, where he attended Kinsey Elementary School, Flagstaff Junior High and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1972. He attended Northern Arizona University where he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Finance in 1976.
KC, along with his former wife, Jane George, welcomed their son Steven on June 25, 1981.
He and his wife of 41 years, Madeline Kuzell-Giovando, joyfully celebrated their wedding anniversary on February 8 each year, marking another year of love and partnership.
He dedicated many years to Babbitt Brothers Trading Co. and later to McCullough's Insurance until his retirement, after which he and Madeline Kuzell-Giovando moved to their vacation home in Tonto Basin.
KC was known for his deep love for family, friends, and dogs, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Pat and his grandson Sawyer.
He is survived by his wife Madeline, son Steven (Saje), grandsons Savino and Sylus, brother Mike (Linda), nephew Jeremy (Renée), great nieces Isabella and Ava, and his cherished pups Wilbur, Laya, and Buddha.
KC's vibrant spirit and dedication to those he loved will be profoundly missed.
We invite you to join us in honoring the life of KC on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. The gathering will take place at Thorpe Park in Flagstaff, AZ.

I was so saddened to see K.C's obituary. I hadn't seen K C. since he graduated from FHS in 1972, however, my dad used to run into him a the VFW and would update me on what he'd heard from KC.
K.C. "bought" me during the Sopho/Senior day at FHS and we quickly became good friends.
K.C. attracted people to him, he was super friendly and so funny! A great guy, always nice to me. He will be sorely missed I'm sure! My sincerest condolences to his family.

May I extend my sympathy & condolences to the Giovando Family & their friends on the passing of their loved one Kenneth. I did not know Kenneth but, in the 1970s, knew his brother Mike & Mike's wife Linda. It is a blessing to know we will be reunited with all of our loved ones for Eternity which makes their temporary absence easier to bear.
