Kevra Hershey Obituary

Kevra Diane Hershey, with amazing heart and soul, left us on October 6, 2025, and we're still reeling from this unexpected loss. She was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and independence. Though she could be a bit stubborn at times, she was always compassionate towards her family and loyal to her friends, both old and new.
Born on April 9, 1962, in Oceanside, CA. Kevra grew up in Flagstaff, attending both Flagstaff High School, and Northern Arizona University where she earned a bachelor's and master's degrees in education, and later a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. Kevra worked in human resources for multiple companies and organizations in the Phoenix area.
She was devoted to her son, Kyle, and dearly loved her fur baby, Ada. During her leisure, Kevra enjoyed various genres of music and books, and watching movies. In her youth, she enjoyed spending time at Lake Powell, and skiing at the Arizona Snow Bowl and Purgatory.
She is survived by her son of 36 years, Kyle Ross; her mother, Brenda Hershey; her father, George Hershey (Terri); her brother, Cy Hershey (KC); stepbrother, Eli (Kate); stepsister, Sarah (Blake), and of course, her beloved Boxer, Ada.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Anthem Community Park on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Dress casually and bring a lawn chair, as seating may be limited. It was Kevra's wishes that folks wear joyful colors because she wants this to be a joyous celebration.
Kevra Diane Hershey lived a life of compassion, loyalty, and love. Her family was her greatest joy, and her legacy will live on in the lives of those she nurtured and cherished.
