Matthew Pavlikowski Obituary

Matt died unexpectedly in Phoenix, Arizona on August 21, 2024, at the age of 40. He was born October 9, 1983, in Kingman, Arizona to Bruce and Arlene Pavlikowski (Martinez) but only living there for his first two months of life. In December, the Family moved back to Flagstaff where Matt attended Knoles Elementary, East Flag Junior High and graduating from Sinagua in 2002. Matt enjoyed playing sports but especially football, basketball, and baseball.

After attending ASU Matt moved back to Flagstaff and went to work for W.L. Gore. After a few years he moved to Phoenix and transferred to their Valley location. Later he worked for another medical assembly company, Accutron.

Matt's favorite things were spending time in his pool and watching night baseball on TV from the pool. He was fascinated by the night sky, enjoying watching satellites and Star-Link as they passed overhead.

Matt is survived by his father Bruce, his Grandmother Pia Martinez, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother Arlene, his brother Christopher, his Grandparents Al & Jane Pavlikowski, and his Grandfather Pete Martinez.

Services will be held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church located at 1600 E. Route 66 Flagstaff, on August 28, 2024, Rosary at 10am followed by interment at Citizens Cemetery located at 1300 S. San Francisco Street in Flagstaff.
