Alex Gil Obituary
October 5, 1940 - January 31, 2023
Bakersfield Alex Sierra Gil, a devoted husband, doting father, proud grandfather and accomplished entrepreneur, passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 82 in Bakersfield, California. Born in Delano, California to his loving parents Conrado and Maria. Alex attended Delano High School where he met the love of his life, Pearl, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage filled with love and happiness.
After 25 years as a barber, Alex ventured into commercial real estate and developed various commercial properties, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Despite his achievements, Alex remained humble and never forgot his roots.
With a caring and generous heart, Alex always put others before himself. He was known for his great sense of humor and always brought joy and laughter to those around him. In his free time, Alex enjoyed playing poker with his friends, and camping and fishing with his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Pearl, children Elaine and her husband Bruce, Gary and his wife Stacie, cherished grandchildren Aaron, Casidie, Dustin, and Noah, brother Edmundo, sister Irene, aunt Aurora, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
A special thanks to Alex's dear family friends Luis and Martha Naranjo, who were a constant source of support and love throughout the years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for close friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched and will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and infectious sense of humor.

Alex is in heaven...no more suffering. He is making all the Angles laugh with his great sense of humor. He is home. He will be greatly missed. Celebrate his life for all the beautiful memories.
