Angela R. Asuncion December 1, 1918 - July 11, 2012 Mom passed away peacefully in her 93rd year on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, in the wonderful care of her Son and Daughter-in- law, Bob and Marina Lerma. Mom worked many different jobs in her life as a single parent, from a Nanny Housekeeper, Waitress, Seamstress and lastly as a Cook, from which she retired from Mexicali Restaurant. Her cooking was always a special treat for her children and grandchildren. Mom was still cooking, making tortillas and caring for herself until February of this year. She was a self taught expert seamstress and created beautiful dolls, prom dresses and even several wedding gowns. She loved reading her Bible, and being involved in activities at her Church. Survivors include her sons and their spouses Richard and Irene, Alex and Lucy, Bill and Liz Asuncion, Ronnie and Barbara Espinoza, Bob and Marina Lerma, Ruben and Sylvia, Jim and Sue and Samuel Frando; daughters, Linda and Eileen Asuncion, Ida and Henry Campos, Marie and Hernando Mondragon, 47 grandchildren, 94 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. To greet her homecoming to our Heavenly Father are her Parents, her sister Cora Frando, daughter Betty Hartman, Grandson Timothy Espinoza, Son Barney Frando, Great-grandchild Jasmyne Frando and Great-great Grandchild Audrina Delgado and 1 brother and 3 sisters.
