Benito Chaidez Obituary

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2004, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 601 E. California Ave., with interment to follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery Southwest, 2739 Panama Ln. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 1, 2004, from 4-8 p.m. at the Bakersfield Family Funeral Directors, 701 34th St. with a recitation of the rosary starting at 7 p.m.
Benito leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Ana Cleta Chaidez; children, Ed Chaidez, Benita Mejia, Adela Fernandez, Silvia, Maria Luisa, Josefa, Socorro, Sebastian, Carmen, Carolina Chaidez, Carolia Marlueño; sister, Elsie Hull; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Benito was preceded in death by his children, Dolores Arquette, Manuel Chaidez, and Fernando Chaidez.
