Socorro Albarez Chaidez

Mrs. Socorro Albarez Chaidez, 85, of Snyder, TX, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Avir of Snyder. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chaidez was born on July 25, 1940, to Trino and Lydia (Lasalde) Albarez in Snyder, TX. Socorro married the love of her life Emiliano Chaidez in Snyder, TX. Emiliano preceded her in death November 21, 2015. Mrs. Chaidez will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She worked at Dickies and Snyder Laundry for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Guadalupanas. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and ironing.

Teresa Morin and husband Lupe of Snyder, TX,

Elena Rodriguez and husband Chris of Snyder, TX;

and Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her,

Trino and Lydia Albarez,

Husband,

Emiliano Chaidez Sr.;

1 Son,

Ricky Chaidez;

2 Sisters;

and 3 Brothers.

A rosary will be recited from 6-7 PM, Monday, February 2, 2026, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
