Born on September 9, 1946, in Wink, TX to AC and Genee Newell Morton. Toby married Dianne Murdoch on November 22, 1967 in Snyder, TX. He lived a life defined by hard work, deep devotion to family, and a personality that could fill any room. He was truly one of a kind - a man who could be both the funniest storyteller at the table and the most serious, steady presence when it mattered most.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Bart and Angee Morton of Paradise and grandchildren Kaden Morton of Lubbock and Tanna and husband, Hunter York of Boyd along with great-grandchildren, Tucker and Sutton York, his sister Helen Voyles of Wink, brother Raleigh Morton of Belize, many nieces and nephews and his companion, his dog, Belle. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Dianne, son Brett Morton, brother Allen Morton, nephew Heath Morton and brother-in-law, Billy Voyles.

Toby valued family above all else. His love was steady and dependable, shown not just in words but in action. He believed in working hard, doing things the right way, and standing by the people you love. Those lessons will live on in the lives of everyone he touched.

He will be remembered for his sharp wit, his strong values, and the way he could always make you laugh. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his stories, his laughter, and his love will carry on through those who knew him. He was deeply loved and will be missed every single day.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cal Farley Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79105.
