Daniel Wayne Highfield-Beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and nephew
Mr. Daniel Wayne Highfield, 42, of Post, past away on Tuesday March 3, 2026, in Snyder, TX. A funeral service for Mr. Highfield will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Born on July 13, 1983, in Snyder, Texas, was the beloved son of late Wayne and Janet Highfield. He graduated from Snyder High School in 2001.
Daniel worked within the oil field in various positions throughout his short span of his adulthood. He always loved sports like football and baseball, where he excelled in his younger days. At one time, he was in training to be a professional wrestler but chose his children over that career path. Daniel, like his father, always had a song in his heart and singing or playing his guitar. As his neighbor recently described Daniel, she knew when he wasn’t feeling well because she couldn’t hear him playing his guitar, “jamming out” as he would call it. Daniel was rough and tough but at the same time a gentle teddy bear. Regardless of his struggles, Daniel loved the Lord and he loved his family more than anything. Daniel’s children were his pride and joy.
Daniel is survived by his children, Whitney Highfield, Ashton Highfield, McKenzie Highfield, and Aiden Highfield; his siblings Jason Highfield, and sister Sherry Faulkenbery and her husband Paul; nephews Eric Highfield, Austin Faulkenbery, Carter Highfield, Jonathan Highfield, nieces Bailey Faulkenbery, and Krista Faulkenbery. Lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Janet Highfield, niece Caitlyn Green, and nephew Christopher Green, grandparents Robert Highfield, Vina Mae “Sally” Franklin, and James Melton.
A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM on Saturday, March 07, 2026, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
