Mr. Roy Lee Botts, 78, of Kingsland, TX, passed away surrounded by family in May, TX. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 2 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Reverend Rick Owens of Faith Baptist Church of Snyder Officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Botts was born on May 30, 1947, to Joe Cornelius and Lella (Wright) Botts, in Wichita Falls, TX. Roy was a hard worker throughout his life, and worked for the Petroleum Industry on pipelines, Roustabouts, and ran rigs. He had a love for fishing, old cars, and was an avid arrow head hunter. Roy was also a member of Clan McDougal Society of North America. He loved rocks and gardening and getting to pass on his knowledge to his grandkids. He will be remembered for his calmness and patience.

Cameron Botts and wife Kerissa of May, TX;

2 Grandchildren,

Zoey Evans,

Kamryn Botts;

2 Sisters,

Kay Roemisch and husband Mark Carter of Snyder, TX,

Donna Parrish of Ft Worth, TX;

2 Brothers,

Troy Botts of Snyder, TX,

Clarence Botts and wife Melinda of Pasco, WA;

and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his,

Parents,

Joe Cornelius Sr. and Lorena Lella Botts;

4 Brothers,

David Botts,

Alvin Botts,

Timmie Botts,

Joe Cornelius botts Jr.;

And 1 Sister,

Gloria Ford.

A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
