Charles Randall (“Randy”) Sterling, 70, of College Station, TX, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Mr. Sterling was born on November 20, 1955 in Colorado City, TX. Randy was a loving, hard-working, fiercely loyal father. He worked in the oil field for 40 years until he retired as an Oil Field Superintendent. He was passionate about Texas Tech University athletics, old westerns, and classic rock.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Tommy Sterling, and parents Gus and Ruby Jean Sterling. He is survived by Shelbe Sterling of McKinney, TX, Samantha Sterling Evans and husband Austin Evans of Corning, NY, Mandeline Sterling of Fort Worth, TX; Survived by grandchildren Sterling and Aubrey Evans, and Liam Kimbrell.
A visitation for Randy Sterling will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 6-7pm at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home and the funeral will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10 AM at Ira Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Ira Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home."
