Years later, your passing weighs so heavy on my heart. When you passed away, the world got darker and silence settled over Fresno State. Classes were never the same, study sessions were so dull, and life was just forever altered without you there. You were one of my favorite people in Fresno and you truly helped me through so much. I wish I could tell you one more time how much I appreciated you in my life and how much greatness you deserved. I hope you´re singing Gangnam Style up in Heaven and making everyone laugh. I´ll always miss you, friend. Rest easy.

I miss you like crazy--there hasn't been a single day since we've met when you weren't on my mind. I will never forget all the amazing times we've spent together for the past few years. I'll never forget the times Brian and I would play trumpet and march together, or all the times we'd all go out for lunch together. I wasn't as close and don't have as many flowery words as many of you, but he was an amazing person to know and will be missed.

Mr. and Mrs. Kileen, and family,
I heard this sad news a couple hours ago and still cannot believe that Brian is not with us anymore. At the moment I do not find many words- let me just tell you that he will be deeply missed by all of us.
Brian, was a great guy, and in many ways, far beyond a friend to me--- a brother actually. I don't know whether he knew that, but I hope he did. His influence on my life is unforgettable. He was a brother to me. It's like a piece of my life is missing now. I will remember him forever. I'm deeply sorry I couldn't come to the funeral.
I loved him, and I love him.

To my cousin Brian,
What a tragedy! You will be missed by countless people. I will always remember you as the boy who caught the garter at my wedding. You were only in the 6th grade. It's memories like that one that make me smile. My deepest sympathy goes out to Uncle Doug, Aunt Angie, Meagan, Stephen, and Jack. It gives me great comfort knowing we will see you one day in heaven. I'll always remember him as "Baby Brian". He'd fall asleep in his high chair while eating lunch and I'd carry him up to his crib and think what an adorable child he was. I have such wonderful memories of this dear, sweet boy and the Kileen family. I love your family dearly. My heart aches and I pray for you all to find peace and comfort.

Brian- I knew you when I was very young...I came to your house all the time to hang out with your brother, Jack. You were always playing with power rangers, and always wanted to be with us when we were trading baseball cards. I always think of you as this sweet, innocent kid with an incredibly kind heart. My Nutrition Partner throughout my journey at Fresno State and absolutely one of my dearest friends. Brian, you were like a brother to me and we had so many good times at school in all the same classes and outside of school hanging out.
