Carolyn Ripplinger Obituary

Carol Ripplinger, nee Terrell, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2009 at 5:36 p.m. in her home at Boundary Bay in Tsawwassen, BC with her husband Jim and a dozen family members and friends at her side. Carol was the light of her husband and family's lives and will be sorely missed by all those left behind. She was predeceased by Noah Terrell (father), Wayne Martin (brother) and Noah Brady (son) and survived by her husband Jim Ripplinger; mother Evelyn Terrell; father-in-law Joseph Ripplinger; sons Patrick, David, Steven; daughters Marie, Pamela; grandchildren Kelsey, Nathan, Jackie, Alexandra, Rueben, Craig, Samantha, Sophia and Tessa Rose; brothers and sisters Noah (Juanita), Lenna Mae (Jim), Carlene (Don), Betty Jo (Randy), Billy Joe (Stephanie), in-laws Betty (Ron), Doris (Terry), Karen (Danny), Kevin and numerous nephews, nieces and close friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 18th, 2009 at 2:30 p.m., in Salon A on the 1st floor of the downtown Marriott Hotel, located at 801 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA. A Reception will follow in Salon B and the family wishes all friends to attend. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the American Cancer Society or the Surrey, BC Canada Women's Shelter. I live next door to Carolyn's mother, Evelyn. Carolyn was a very nice lady. I am sorry to hear of her passing. Please know that I will be in prayer for the entire family.
