Daniel Avilez Obituary
Services: Thurs., July 11, 10 a.m.
Graveside services, Thursday, July 11 at 10 a.m. at Union Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at Mish Funeral Home in Oildale.
Dan was born December 14, 1916 at the family ranch at Poso Flat, California. He passed away July 6, 2002 in Bakersfield.
Dan was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable; son, Fred, and brothers, Lawrence and Joseph. He is survived by his wife, Edith; children, Carol DeRamus, Dan and George Avilez, Rosemary Alexander and Mary Ellen Holland; sisters, Irene Osborn and Linda Bearup and brothers, Marcus, John, Jim and David Avilez and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to express its gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Memorial Hospital and its Skilled Nursing Facility, with special thanks to Christina, Eva, and Betty for their kind and loving care.
